ADASS Spring Seminar 2025: Members only

The Spring Seminar is an annual event for ADASS members.

This year’s Spring Seminar will held be at the Wyboston Event Centre in Bedfordshire from Monday 28th April to Wednesday 30th April.  We’ve refreshed this year’s format to ensure that our time together is empowering, varied and dynamic. We will have robust, practical sessions about meeting our key challenges while celebrating our strengths as leaders and the transformative power of good social care.

The year ahead is going to be complex. As a sector, we are operating at a time of transition. Local government and NHS reform are underway, and Baroness Louise Casey will soon be picking up the torch of adult social care reform through a new independent commission. We know there is a National Care Service down the line. Yet we have to engage with this changing landscape while seeing our resources shrink in real terms, making the day-to-day work ever-harder.

This year we will use a range of formats to support active learning, such as masterclasses and sessions animated by feedback on our dedicated app. We’ll ensure that people with lived experience are true partners across the programme. We’ll bring in some voices from left-field to challenge and surprise you.
