Our President
Melanie Williams is ADASS President from 24 April 2024 until April 2025.
Melanie has more than 30 years leadership experience across Health and Social Care working in Local Government, NHS and Voluntary sector from practice to Executive and Board roles.
Currently Corporate Director for Adult Social Care and Public Health with Nottinghamshire County Council and is a Member of the Integrated Care Board and plays a senior role in the ICS.
As well as leading for health and wellbeing in the Council, Melanie champions equality, diversity and inclusion, leads strategic commissioning and heads council work to prevent violence against women and girls. Melanie was voted President of ADASS following leadership roles as a policy trustee, mental health policy lead and social justice priority lead.

Our Vice President
Jess McGregor is ADASS Vice President from 24 April 2024 to April 2025.
Currently in post as Executive Director of Adults and Health in the London Borough of Camden, Jess has been a Director of Adult Social Services (DASS) for almost 4 years and worked across health and care for the past 25 years.
Jess has held a range of leadership role in ADASS over the past 10 years as the Co-Chair of the National Care & Justice Network, the London ADASS Lead for Workforce and more recently as Vice Chair of the London Branch.
