ADASS Spring Survey Topic Report: Co-production and National Adult Social Care Surveys 

This report draws on the ADASS Spring Survey 2026 to explore councils’ progress in embedding co-production and how well national surveys capture the experiences of people who draw on care and support and unpaid carers. Bringing together views from directors and people with lived experience, it highlights concerns about accessibility and representation, and calls for improvements to be co-produced with the people whose voices these surveys seek to reflect.
