Associate Membership application form

Associate Membership is open to all former ADASS members – Directors of Adult Social Services, Extended Members and Principal Social Workers.

We aim to process applications within 7 working days and will inform you accordingly if your application has been accepted.

If you have not yet left your local authority position, we will process your Associate Membership around the time of your leaving to ensure a smooth transition.

When you join as a new Associate, your invoice will be issued after the membership fee for the upcoming subscription period has been set at our AGM. Your payment covers from the date you join to the end of the subscription period (31st March), with fees pro-rated if you join partway through the subscription period.

This year, membership subscriptions will change to begin aligning with the financial year. This means the subscription period will run from January 2025 through March 2026. From April 2026 onward, it will run annually from April to March. More information can be found on the application form and membership fees are listed here.
