Halton Carers Centre – Dementia Carer Support

Halton Carers Centre's current offer for dementia carers involves providing information advice and signposting; support groups specifically for dementia carers; trips and activities; holistic therapies, counselling and access to the carer break fund – a pot of money that enables carers to purchase bespoke activities that help them take a break.

Carers Walk & Talk Project

Carers Support Centre (Bristol & South Glos) have been running walk and talk groups for carers since August 2022, which take place over 6 consecutive weeks in local green spaces, particularly in areas of multiple deprivation.

Newham Carers Small Grants Programme

The Newham Carers Small Grants Programme enables Newham residents to develop or continue running local peer support groups and access the wellbeing activities that they want and need. Successful applicants receive one off funding of up to £1000 per group, per year.
