For colleagues working on the front line in social care, this often involves supporting bereaved families and loved ones. While this work can be deeply rewarding, it can also take an emotional toll on personal wellbeing.
Compassionate Employers Coping with Professional Grief workshop is a practical and interactive session which includes peer‑to‑peer learning and provides space to reflect, share experiences and build confidence in supporting both yourself and others.
In the training, you will:
- Explore what professional grief is and how it can intensify when personal losses overlap with work
- Recognise how professional grief shows up for you, emotionally, physically, and behaviourally, and how it may affect both your work and home life
- Learn practical techniques to support your wellbeing, reduce the risk of burnout, and protect against compassion fatigue
- Understand the support available to you and how to access it when you need it
Join the Compassionate Employers team at 10.00–12.30 on Wednesday 21st October 2026, for this interactive virtual workshop, for just £120 + VAT per person.
This workshop is limited to 20 participants, so once they have reached capacity, they will create a waiting list for future dates.
