ADASS submission to carers rights consultation

ADASS has submitted its response to the Government’s consultation, Make Work Pay: employment rights for unpaid carers and parents of seriously ill children

The response welcomes measures that help carers remain in employment, including greater flexibility and improved leave entitlements, while emphasising that stronger employment rights must be accompanied by long-term reform and sustainable investment in adult social care to ensure carers receive the support they need.
