In 2017 the Secretaries of State for Health and for Communities and Local Government requested CQC to undertake a programme of local system reviews of health and social care in an initial 12 areas, later extended to 20. It is anticipated that the system review programme may be extended during 2018, and in recognition of this, NE ADASS are in the process of designing a process of self-assessment and peer challenge to support local system planning. This workshop will demonstrate the approach being taken by the North East in bringing local systems together to inform, plan and prepare for system reviews whilst also developing closer working relationships.
Chair: Ann Workman, ADASS North East Chair
