The social care workforce is expected to have to grow by at least 500,000 by 2025 and with the sector already facing significant pressures in recruiting and retaining staff, Directors need to start tackling these challenges now. This interactive session will explore how  national, regional and local workforce plans  link together, as well as providing an opportunity to share experiences and practical examples  of workforce approaches to help Directors to plan for a  modernised and integrated social care workforce.
