We are looking for a Membership and Engagement Coordinator to lead our membership support offer. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to use your experience supporting and engaging with members (or other stakeholders) alongside your wider administrative skills within a small, fast-paced and supportive charity.

ADASS is a membership charity and a leading voice of adult social care. We raise awareness of the benefits social care can bring to individuals and communities, and aim to ensure all of us who need care and support can live the lives we want regardless of age, ability and background.

Job details

This is a flexible, largely home-based role, with some travel required to our London (currently Westminster) office for meetings and ADASS events. We are flexible and open to a number of different working arrangements, including job sharing. This role is initially a 2-year appointment with a view to extension.

Key skills and experience required:

  • Experience of supporting members (or other stakeholders)
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Positive customer services approach
  • Administrative flair
  • Strong IT skills (including using customer relationship management, survey and communications/marketing platforms)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Collaborative working

Key responsibilities

  • Lead our membership function
  • Manage member record keeping systems (currently Salesforce, Mailchimp, Sharepoint, SurveyMonkey)
  • Support member communications
  • Ensure member income is collected efficiently
  • Respond to member and general enquiries

Salary

£33,000 per year

Hours

Full-time role, 35 hours a week.
