ADASS Careers: Interim Director of Governance and Resources
On this page
This is a fantastic opportunity to use your experience in managing finance and governance within a small, fast-paced and supportive charity, for a focused interim period of six months, on a part time basis.
About us
ADASS is a membership charity and a leading voice of adult social care. We raise awareness of the benefits social care can bring to individuals and communities, and aim to ensure all of us who need care and support can live the lives we want regardless of age, ability and background.
Our impact far outstrips our size, and we are seeking an Interim Director of Governance and Resources to play a key leadership role over the coming months to manage our finances, including production of management and financial accounts, forecasting and budgeting, and contract compliance.
Over the last year, we have completed governance, membership and policy reviews and have transformed our ways of working to ensure we have strengthened governance arrangements and can achieve positive policy impacts. The Board of Trustees has been central to this process and are keen to embed the findings of the reviews into the way that the organisation operates. The post holder will help support this process, will ensure we remain on a stable and sustainable financial footing, and remain complaint with all charity commission and wider legislative requirements.
