Ben Jupp, Director of Social Finance and Geetha Rabindrakumar, Social Sector Leader, Big Society Capital.
There is growing interest in the use of socially motivated investment to enable the development of new services. For example, such investment is enabling the growth of new service models, such as new Shared Lives schemes, specialist accommodation and new payment by outcome contracts. Big Society Capital and a number of new social investment funds offer opportunities to support the transformation of services. But then is social investment appropriate and when are more traditional forms of public or private investment more suitable? And if you are seeking to stimulate such investment, how should you go about it.
This workshop will look at the lessons from the last couple of years and the opportunities for going forward.
