Peer Challenge is key mechanism for sector led improvement in both adults and children's services.  This session will use the experience from both regional and national peer challenges in both services to outline how it can bring about improvement in councils and their partners.  Using recent evaluations of peer challenge work and the experiences of two leaders in these fields, the session will identify success factors attendees can take away to apply to their own work within their own councils.  It will also cover the similarities and differences between these the two areas, and identify key policy and practice lessons for sector led improvement going forward.  This interactive session will also allow attendees to share their experiences of peer challenge and learn from innovative approaches in other areas.
