We are looking for candidates with a successful track record at executive level for this pivotal role. You should have a thorough understanding of the local and national safeguarding agenda, with the skills and experience to chair complex, professional and strategic meetings. You should have the personal attributes, exceptional leadership skills, creativity and drive to be able to critically challenge, and lead positive relationships with a range of stakeholders. The post will be initially for a two year period with the option to extend for a further two years, on a self-employed contractual basis. The post will require a commitment of an average of two days per month, up to a maximum of twenty four days per year, with some flexibility around this level of commitment required. The daily rate is £500 inclusive, including travel.
