Better Care Implementation Support: 2nd how to guide & updates

Attached is a ‘beta’ version of the second how to guide in the BCF implementation support series. We will be improving this further based on the outputs from this initial sharing and we would welcome your views – please share with . There will also be a technical webinar covering s75 arrangements on 18th March, as set out below.
2. The 3rd and 4th ‘How to’ guidesThe 3rd and 4th ‘how to’ guides are both now in production. The 3rd guide on joint working is due to be published by mid-March and the 4th guide on measuring impact is due to be published by the end of March.
3. ‘Better Care Exchange’ update
Thank you to all
of those who submitted their responses to the Better Care Exchange support
survey which closed on the 27th February - feedback will be incorporated into
the ongoing design of the Exchange. The ‘beta’ version of the website is now in
place and members of the Co-design User Group were introduced to the Better Care
Exchange through WebEx sessions last week. Initial feedback has been positive
and we are looking forward to receiving more detailed feedback once remote
testing of the site begins this week. If you would like more information
about taking part in the User Group please let us know at better.care@kpmg.co.uk
There is also an opportunity to take part in a national webex to get introduced to the Better Care Exchange towards the end of March – please contact better.care@kpmg.co.uk to register your interest in this.
4. Details on regional and local support for BCF teamsFollowing the first set of Leadership regional workshops in February, the outline of the programme of support in March is set out below – including a national event at the end of March and 8 regional workshop/clinics to cover the major issues identified in each region. We are in the process of collating local area views to shape the content of the regional support sessions and further details will follow later on this week. Bespoke support is also being provided to areas on a case-by-case basis.
