Changes to the ADCS Presidential team

 

Today, Dave Hill, Director of Children’s Services at Essex Council succeeds Alison O’Sullivan as ADCS President.  Alison will now leave the ADCS Board of Directors as she is retiring from her role as a DCS.

 

Alison Michalska, Corporate Director of Children and Adults at Nottingham City Council becomes Vice President of the Association.

 

Other key changes

 

Barbara Peacock, Director of Children and Adult Services at Medway Council takes over as Honorary Secretary.

 

Mark Barratt Service Director, Safeguarding and Family Support Services, Wakefield Metropolitan District Council and Bernie Brown, Assistant Director for Children and Young People’s Services, Liverpool City Council assume their posts as Elected Directors.

 

Sara Tough, Director of Children’s Services, Dorset Council leaves her role on the Board as an Elected Director.

Charlotte Ramsden, DCS Salford, takes over from Andrew Christie as Chair of the Health, Care & Additional Needs Policy Committee this month.

 

Alex Hopkins, DCS Northamptonshire, has taken over as Chair of the East Midlands region from Alison Michalska.
