ADASS is looking for three exceptional individuals to join our central team.

The next twelve months are set to be amongst the most challenging that adult social care has ever faced.  We must continue to respond to the devastating impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, whilst shaping a better future by influencing the upcoming Spending Review and the wider reform debate. 

To help us maintain this twin focus over the next year we are looking to recruit to a number of temporary positions which will strengthen our administrative support and senior leadership capacity during this crucial period.  Could you play a leading role in helping us to respond to both current challenges and in shaping a better future?

Post #1: Assistant Chief Officer

We are looking for a senior leader with excellent coordination, communication and diplomatic skills, able to deal with a quickly changing and complex national portfolio, who wants to make a real difference for people with care and support needs, their carers and families by shaping our work nationally, regionally and locally?  

Fixed Term Position (Six Months) – Full-time

Salary: £85,000 per annum (pro-rata).

Post #2: Senior Officer – Communications

We are looking for a strong writer and communicator with senior level experience and understanding of what matters to working age disabled people, older people, families and carers?  Could you help us to tell the social care story and support us to help shape a better future?

Fixed Term Position (Twelve Months)

Part-time - 0.2 (FTE).  Flexible working essential - Flexible hours to be agreed.

Salary: £70,000 per annum (pro-rata), including London Weighting

Post #3: Communications and Events Administrator [CLOSED]

We are looking for an experienced administrator who can support our work on a range of fast-paced, high profile communications and events activities.  

Fixed Term Position (Twelve Months)

Part-time - 0.5 FTE.  Flexible hours to be agreed.

Salary: £30,837 per annum (inc. London Weighting) Pro-rata.  Actual Salary £15,419 per annum
