ADASS is committed to maintaining a strong and clear focus on equality, diversity and social inclusion. This takes on a new significance given:

  • The transformational nature of the emerging adult social care agenda, and the wider 'place shaping' and community leadership role of local government,
  • The increasingly diverse nature of Britain's communities that require social care (and its partners) to respond imaginatively and with a sound understanding of equalities issues to meet the needs of users and carers,

Work is currently being progressed to scope key priorities and their connection with wider ADASS agendas.
