Making Research Count
Making Research Count is a national initiative aimed at increasing 'research mindedness' among practitioners, supervisors and managers. Four universities are involved: UEA, Norwich; Luton; York and Royal Holloway, London. MRC also has links with The Open University. To date, over 30 SSDs and related organisations have joined MRC. Membership includes attendance at a number of locally-based and designed seminars as well as at national and regional events focusing on contemporary evidence and knowledge-based topics in both child and family support and in community care. Feedback from participants has been exceptionally positive and they are finding MRC stimulating and informative.
