The Association has nine Regional Networks (see list below and map opposite) which play an active and growing role in the implementation agenda set by the Department of Health. As well as meeting to discuss common regional issues as they arise within adult social care, Regional Networks will be playing an increasingly important part in the new, DH-led Regional Presence initiatives, working closely with regional NHS colleagues and Government Offices on the important integration agendas that have emerged in recent years.

Moreover, Regional Networks are usually the first all-important introduction new directors have to ADASS and the very wide range of activities the Association is involved with. It's not all hard-edged policy and implementation: regular regional meetings play an invaluable part in creating networking, mentoring and social opportunities for newly appointed directors as well as their main point of contact for a wide range of organisations and other agencies who wish to establish contact and good relations with regional Directors of Adult Social Services.
