Welcome to the home page of the Association of Director's of Adult Social services Workforce Development Network.  We consider on ADASS's behalf all issues which impinge on human resource and training issues including workforce analysis, management, development, competencies and qualifications.  We are also concerned to:

the development of necessary attitudes, knowledge and skills among those who deliver personal social services,

the management of diversity and inclusivity in employment and training practice,

liaison with relevant professional bodies, including SCIE, Skills for Learning the GSCC,

and carry out such consultations as appropriate for the purposes of carrying out our terms of reference.
