The theme of the 2004 conference,
jointly organised by ADSS and LGA, was
‘Communities that Care, Services that Deliver’. It gave an opportunity to
explore how we can build sustainable communities that promote well being
and are safe, caring and supportive.
The conference was held in
Newcastle - a city well known for its vibrancy and sense of community where
there are many examples which reflected our conference theme.
