Terms of Reference

1. To consider on behalf of the Association issues concerning services for people with a physical disability, learning disability or sensory impairment; people with a mental health problem; people with HIV infection / AIDS and people with problems of drug and/or alcohol misuse; and their carers.

2. To promote the rights of and better care for people with a disability or illness, and their carers.

3. To strengthen links with other organisations, particularly health organisations to promote the interests of people with a disability or illness and their carers.

4. To initiate and carry out such consultations as appropriate for the purposes of carrying out its terms of reference.
